Power Rewards Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for our Power Rewards programs, you must be an I&M account holder and live in Indiana or Michigan.
Requirements:
- I&M residential customer
- Have central air conditioning
- Have a Smart Meter
- If living in an urban area, must be 65+ years old or income-qualified
Not eligible if enrolled in these programs:
- Power Rewards: Smart Thermostat
- Power Rewards: iControl
Requirements:
- I&M residential customer.
- Live in the home and be the account holder.
- Have a Smart Meter.
- Opt-in to text alerts and keep a current email and phone number on file.
Not eligible if enrolled in these programs:
- Power Rewards: Smart Thermostat
- Power Rewards: Water Heater
- Power Rewards: Home AC
Requirements:
- Must have central AC
- Must use an eligible smart thermostat for cooling
- Have continuous Wi-Fi/internet
Not eligible if enrolled in these programs:
- Power Rewards: iControl
- Power Rewards: Home AC
Requirements:
- Must be at least one of the following:
- 65+ years old
- Income-Qualified Household
- Must live in single-family housing
- Must have an electric water heater
