What are the rules / qualifications?

A:

  • Must be an I&M residential customer in Michigan.
  • Kit is limited to one per I&M account every three years.
  • The kit will be mailed to the Michigan mailing address on your I&M account. If you have an out-of-state address (not Michigan), the kit will be shipped to your service address.

Q:

I don’t have internet access. Can someone help me take the Online Energy Checkup?

A:

Yes. Call our customer service team at 800-311-4634 for help with the Online Energy Checkup.

Q:

Where will the kit be mailed? Can the kit be mailed to my winter home in Florida?

A:

The kit will be sent to the Michigan mailing address on your I&M account. If you have an out-of-state address (not Michigan), the kit will be sent to your service address. If you have a PO Box or forwarding request at USPS, you may be charged USPS forwarding fees.

When will my kit arrive?

A:

Your kit will arrive in 4-6 weeks. You will receive an email confirmation when your kit ships.

Q:

What is the status of my kit?

A:

If we have an email address on file, you will get an email if you are not qualified to receive a kit. If you are qualified to get a kit, you will receive an email confirmation when your kit ships. Check your SPAM folder for an email from Indiana Michigan Power.
