The School Energy Education Program has Ended

The Indiana School Energy Education rebate program ended on March 31, 2021 as a result of an Order by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC). More information can be found here.

In 2020, 231 classrooms learned about saving energy. Each of the 6,586 students received an energy-saving kit to take home. Those 5th-grade students and their families helped save over 1.2 million kWh. That’s equal to reducing the emissions from a car driving 2,240,690 miles a year.*

Tip of the Day

TIP #11
Water Heating
If your water heater is more than 15 years old, install an insulating wrap to reduce “standby” heat loss. It’s also a good idea to insulate hot water pipes where they’re accessible.
