The Home Energy Checkup & Weatherproofing Program has Ended

The Indiana Home Energy Checkup & Weatherproofing rebate program ended on March 31, 2021 as a result of an Order by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC). More information can be found here. 

Over 1 million kWh of energy was saved by customers who had a Home Energy Checkup in 2020. That’s equal to reducing the emissions from a car driving 1,845,060 miles a year.*

Install additional attic insulation at right angles to the previous layer. You don’t have to use the same type of insulation – it’s fine to use batts or blankets over loose-fill, or vice versa.
